Audrey Munson was the model or inspiration in the early 1900s.
But few know the tale of
the woman known as America's first supermodel, or why she spent decades
in an asylum, where she died at the age of 104.
Now a new book,
The Curse of Beauty: The Scandalous & Tragic Life of Audrey Munson,
America's First Supermodel, is bringing her story to light.
